Grading System

All RECORDS, CDS and MUSIC MEMORABILIA are graded in accordance with my own collecting experience combined with THE RECORD COLLECTORS GUIDE TO RARE RECORDS, using this i grade records and sleeves separately with two grades for records that are rare.

Gradings are as follows:

MINT: Item is still sealed in original packaging and New.
NEAR MINT: Item may or may not have original packaging but would be in unplayed condition
EXCELLENT+/-: Immaculatly clean example with very few and only light signs of any wear.
VERY GOOD+/-: A few more signs of wear and tear including light scratches to the vinyl and cracks and creasing plus small tears to the sleeves.
GOOD+/-: Generally the sleeve would still be intact but a bit rougher around the edges. The record would play with some interference from crackles and may have the occasional pop.
FAIR+/-: High levels of interference in the recording by cracks pops and jumps. Sleeves could be torn or damaged moderately.
POOR+/-: Sleeves could be heavily damaged/torn, records may jump on several occasions but would still just about play.
BAD: ANYTHING GRADED BAD WILL NOT BE SOLD.

Excellent Minus

A great condition sleeve, only has a few minor faults. There is a slight split and some medium wear on the centre of the spine. The top left hand corner has been slightly dented. Otherwise the sleeve is immaculate with excellent front and back sides and a perfect centrefold.  Still an excellent collectors piece.

Very Good

Still a reasonably good vinyl, nice and flat with excellent labels. The record surface has a light scattering of ultra light and light hairline scratches. There are also one or two medium small scratches and a few light scuffs. There is someone's name written in very small writing on the label on side two. Minimal spindle wear.


PLAY GRADE
VG+
Very Good Plus

Still a great player. There are a few scattered light pops over side A and some occasional light background crackle. Side B is similar with a scattering of light pops and some occasional light background crackle, there is however the addition of a consistent run of light pops during the first minute or so of track one on side 2.

NO HEAVY POPS AND NO JUMPS.
