Vinyl, LP, Album, Limited Edition # 4826 out of 5000,  Remastered, long time out of print

This Mobile Fidelity Treasure is offered complete containing:

Grading: please refere also to the pictures 

• Special heavy dude protective packaging (LP Box): VG
• storage wear and discoloration, some stains, worn, especially the black color, but the writing in red is still in a very nice condition
• the paper of the upper left corner is damaged and somebody tried to fix it with a sticker -The Beatles-
• otherwise only discrete turned up corners

• Inserts: UHQR Certificate of Authenticity and Technical Specifications Manual: VG -VG+
• The backside of the Technical Specifications Manual is significantly yellowed, more than the rest of the manual
• The UHQR Certificate of Authenticity is NM, nearly perfect

• LP heavy duty Cover: VG
• clearly discolored and many fine "hairline scratches" and ring wear, mainly on the front cover; the backside is in a better shape; VG+
• otherwise no significant bent corners

• Vinyl visual graded both sides: VG
• a lot of stains and flow marks (Flecken, Schlieren); it seems that somebody tried to wash this record in a very unprofessional way, I tried to wash it myself, but unfortunately I didn't succeed to improve the look of this vinyl
• but otherwise no scratches which could overpower the music

• Vinyl audio graded (both sides): VG - VG+

• The sound quality is very good, for my taste the higher ranges (Höchtöne) are too pronounced
• on the other hand the basses are warm and heavy 
• because of the shape of the vinyl -described above- some crackling and sizzling noise is hearable, maybe the pronounced higher ranges (Hochtöne) is the result of the shape of the vinyl
• but there is no skipping or sticking of the needle

Record Grading System according to the „Goldmine Standards“

Mint (M) 

The Record is absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still sealed. As I grade my records very carefully, I never use Mint. If a record is still sealed, I mention this in my describtions.

Near Mint (NM or M-) 

A nearly perfect record. The record shows no obvious signs of wear, with no surface marks or deterioration which could have an impact on the sound quality. 

A 45 RPM or EP sleeve has no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling. 
An LP cover has no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable similar defects. No cut-out holes, either. And of course, the same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves and the like. 
The record itself is in brand new condition

Very Good Plus (VG+)

A Very Good Plus record shows some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. 
Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that shouldn’t affect one's listening experiences. 

The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play. 
Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves may have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount

Very Good (VG)  

Many of the defects found in a VG+ record are more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise is  evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. 
Labels can be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. 

The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.
