Description
The Beatles - Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Mono) 1st Press with original inner and insert. Laminated Gatefold Sleeve with flipbacks (internal gatefold). Wide White Spine.
UK pressing on the Parlophone label (Black/Yellow). Cat No: PMC 7027. Released 1967.
Side 1 Vinyl: Graded as a conservative VG+ (the usual hairlines, handling marks and age blemishes). The whole side plays faultlessly. The label is clean with mild spidering. The matrix no is XEX 637-1. P and 2 appear in the runout.
Side 2: Vinyl: Graded as VG (there is a superficial line (NOT SCRATCH) across the tracks but THIS DOES NOT AFFECT PLAY AT ALL. The whole side plays faultlessly. There is some noticeable spidering on the label and also a K/T tax code stamper. The matrix No is XEX 638-1. AB and 3 appear in the runout.
I know this is a sought after LP so I have graded strictly and fairly.
The Laminated G&L gatefold sleeve is graded as EX with no tears, splits or damage at all. Very mild corner wear only. The wide White spine is fully intact. The internal fipbacks are fully sealed down and the open gatefold is immaculate. The cut-out insert is graded as N MINT. The original "Fool" inner is fully intact with no damage at all.
