Description
This is an original Sgt Pepper album I purchased in 1967.
The vinyl is in very good condition, the cover is in excellent condition and the 'cut-outs' card is perfect.
The album SEEMS to satisfy all the criteria for a FIRST PRESSING as listed below:(source www.discogs.com)
- A Garrod & Lofthouse laminated gatefold cover (flipback glue-tabs on inner spread);
- A 'cut-outs' card insert (full-color, single-sided);
- A black and yellow label with ''The Gramophone Co.'' and ''Sold in the UK'' in the radius text.
- Matrix / Runout (A-side run-out, stamped): XEX 637-1
- Matrix / Runout (B-side run-out, stamped): XEX 638-1
I'm not sure therefore of the exact status of the album. I'll leave it to the bidders to decide. If you have any questions please ask.
