IN THIS AUCTION: 

·       “SGT. PEPPER’S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND” by the Beatles  

·       This LP is Capitol Records MAS - 2653.

·       This is a RARE MONAURAL (MONO) PRESSING.

·       This is a FIRST PRESSING MONO COPY OF THIS LP because the labels don’t “subsidiary” in the label’s perimeter printing, and it has the shortened song title “A Little Help From My Friends” on the side 1 label.

·       This LP was issued June 1, 1967.

·       The vinyl comes in its properly marked MONO cover (MAS – 2653)

·       The vinyl has a “0” in the trail-off vinyl which indicates that this record came from Capitol’s Jacksonville pressing plant.

·       The COVER is in VERY STRONG VG to WEAK VG+ CONDITION. The front cover image is NICE with some light wear on the sky area at the top. The red rear cover is VERY NICE and does not show much wear at all (just a little at the top and center).  The red rear covers of Sgt. Pepper LPs, where the lyrics were printed, were often prone to show wear more easily than the front cover. (Please Check Out the Images!)  There is light wear on the top and bottom left corners (at top and bottom of the spine).

·       The VINYL is in VERY NICE VG+ CONDITION. There are some light surface hairlines/scuffs and a lot of gloss and shine!

·       It comes with its original custom red, pink and white inner sleeve. It has a 2-inch split on one side.

·       It also comes with the poster-board sheet of Sgt. Pepper cut-outs which is NEAR MINT. 

·       The MONO version of this LP has become VERY DESIREABLE and HARD-TO-FIND in DECENT CONDITION. I’ve always heard it said that John Lennon once remarked that you haven’t really heard Sgt. Pepper as it was intended to sound if you haven’t heard it in the original Mono! 

·       It’s A GREAT BEATLES LANDMARK LP in the ORIGINAL MONO to add to your vinyl collection!
