Description
Sadly I'm selling my vinyl collection, collected over 50 years. All Records are graded to Record Collectors Standard, sleeve graded first although I have graded my vinyl with caution even down graded it slightly to be on the safe side. If you disagree with my grading , I will happily refund any item returned in its original condition.
FOR SALE-
HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION
The Beatles – Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band Original Stereo 1967 UK Press – PCS 7027. Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 637-1 ; Side 2: YEX 638 -1.
CONDITION – SLEEVE – EXCELLENT / ALBUM – EXCELLENT +
I bought this album in 1968. After much research I believe this to be an Original First 1967 Stereo pressing with Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 637-1 ; Side 2: YEX 638 -1 and KT tax code stamped straddling the spindle hole on side 2 indicating it was manufactured between 1963 and 1968, information that is not found anywhere else on the label or cover. The vinyl shines absolutely beautifully but does have a very small handful of the lightest wispy inaudible hairline marks on the vinyl that are visible under strong light, the sound is superb.
Parlophone yellow and black labels with “SOLD IN UK. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS.” MADE IN GREAT BRITIAIN printed on them. The labels have no damage and are beautifully clean and have no writing but there are very feint marks around the spindle holes.
Excellent laminated gatefold sleeve (please see the photographs).
UNFORTUNATELY THE CARDBOARD SGT PEPPER CUT –OUT INSERT IS MISSING.
