Description
1st UK pressings, with:
- A Garrod & Lofthouse laminated gatefold cover (flipback glue-tabs on inner spread);
- A red half-tone print on white 'psychedelic' inner sleeve;
- A 'cut-outs' card insert (full-color, single-sided. Printed signatures of Blake/Haworth at foot);
- A black and yellow logo label with silver text:
- "The Gramophone Co." in the radial text and "Sold in the U.K. Subject To Resale Price Conditions, See Price Lists" across label at centre.
Sleeve: Sleeve is in excellent condition for age. A few scuffs on the corners and signs of usage at the opening. See photos and zoom in for details.
Inner sleeve: The psychedelic inner sleeve is present but has a split at the bottom and some damage at the top. It's quite heavily creased. Glue is coming away from one of the side flaps.
Cut-out card: In excellent condition EXCEPT someone stuck some tape to it on one side. Then they tried to remove it and tore off some of the print. Such a shame.
Record: Played through with no skips or jumps on both my turntables. It has some surface marks that can be seen under strong light. These are mainly handling marks from going in and out of the sleeve. It's a lovely specimen!
See photos as they are an integral part of the description. All records are sold as seen.
Runouts: A-side: XEX 637-1 GTL (downwards on right side of runout) B-side: XEX 638-1 AGR (downwards diagonally on right side)
