Description
This is a very special re-issue (180-gram vinyl record cut from the original master tapes: the mastering team used a completely analogue signal path and were guided by the notes made by the cutting engineer for the first pressing of the album). Note that at this phase, the Beatles conceived, produced and recorded in mono as that was their preference; the stereo release of the records were somewhat of an afterthought so as to not rule out additional album sales. This album was purchased new by me and immediately professionally cleaned using a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine with dedicated vinyl wash fluid, vacuumed dry and de-static'd. Included are two rave record reviews of this mono release: "The Beatles in Mono is a sonic triumph running the gamut from gritty to gorgeous". "A splendid time is guaranteed for all".
