The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1970, Parlophone, UK)
Very nice 1970 EMI "One-Box" UK pressing with -1/-1 matrix.
Matrix Side A: YEX 637 -1 3 GLP Matrix Side B: YEX 638 -1 1 GLH
Vinyl Grade - VG
Several hairline marks but nothing significant. The record has been cleaned (see below).
Sleeve Grade - VG+
Nice glossy gatefold with some light edge wear and some age wear inside the gatefold along the top foldover (see photo). Nice strong spine. Still some "creak" left when opening the gatefold!
Play Grade - VG+*
Light to medium crackle throughout but not overpowering and mostly covered by the music. No obvious IGD. No skips or jumps.
Specific issues:
Track A3 - 7 x light to medium ticks at end of track Track B1 - Light "brushing" sound leading into the track
Nice, rich all-analogue goodness
Other Grades
Labels in VG+ condition with visible spindle marks. Cut-outs untouched and in VG+ condition.
All records have been cleaned using a vacuum-based record cleaner (KAB EV-1 RECORD CLEANER)
* A note about play grading:
I play grade through headphones and make note of any obvious ticks / pops / distortion / sibilance / IGD that can be heard above general background crackle. My setup: Pro-ject Mk II Xpression III turntable fitted with an Ortofon 2M Bronze cartridge, through to a Vincent Pho-8 Phono Pre-amplifier, on to a Cambridge Audio 651A Stereo Amplifier and finally out to a pair of Grado sr225i headphones.

Recycled LP mailers are used for postage, with bubble wrap for extra protection. I will combine postage - just ask.
