VERY VERY DETAILED Sgt. Pepper Audio Test:


Repeating clicks on intro, goes to “They’ve been going in and out of style”

2 pops on the beginning of WALHFYF

Slightly quiet transition to Lucy in the Sky

VERY VERY slight distortion during the final verse of Lucy in the Sky

3 very quiet clicks on Getting Better, almost buried by the music

Quiet transition from Getting Better to Fixing a Hole

Pops on Fixing a Hole, some quiet and some medium leveled (not overbearing the music like a scratch but certainly audible)

(Side note: bass is really nice on this track)

Quiet transition from Hole to Home

Distortion before the 3rd verse of She’s leaving home, otherwise surprisingly not distorted throughout the entire song like other copies

Mr. Kite has distortion as well, more than She’s Leaving Home does, but only on the sung verses


Small surface noise throughout songs on side 1, does not overpower the music


3 clicks before Within You Without You’s fade intro begins, the scratch on photo 11 causes pops that are not as loud as I thought, at least until after the music build up, then the song becomes quiet and the scratch is loud. It ends during the last verse though. Otherwise, the audio sounds awesome on this song, it seriously blew me away how good these parlophone pressings are.


Same thing goes to When I’m Sixty Four, sounds great!


Other than 4 clicks at the start and a pop in the middle and at the end of the song, Lovely Rita sounded great!


Good Morning Good Morning sounds great


The real shocker is A Day in the Life, no pops, just very slight distortion at the peak of only the first build up, but there are 9 pops at the ending fadeout


Surprise Runout is present


Overall a great copy all around
