Description
This is the first UK pressing of the MONO album "Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" by The Beatles on the Parlophone label catalogue number PMC 7027. Out of the early issue Pepper's this is one of the most sought after having the rare wide spine. Matrix numbers side 1, XEX 637-2. Side 2, XEX 638-1. Stampers side 1, @ 9 oclock - 3, @ 3 oclock - TR Stampers side 2, @ 9 oclock - 4, @ 3 oclock - TM. Labels are nice and bright with not damage, side 1 has the KT tax code embossed. Labels have the Gramophone Company rim and Sold in UK text. Both playing surfaces are brilliantly clean and bright and neither side has any Scratches, Scuffs or other surface marks (outstanding condition) The item is supplied with the original fool inner that looks as good as the day it was made, having no splits, tears and only light creasing. The item is complete with the cutout card that is in mint condition. The outer sleeve is in excellent condition. It does have one corner bump on the top front left corner. The front of the sleeve appears lighter than other brightly coloured copies I've seen but I understand for this copy this is the norm. There are two light creases (and I mean light) to the top front of the sleeve. The rear of the sleeve looks nice although there is some signs of shelf wear rubbing. The inner left panel does have a crease running almost top to bottom. The spine is in great shape, white strong and clearly legible text. Overall this is in very nice condition (please check my feedback).
