Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: The Beatles - Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band - Vinyl LP album.
Later pressing on the Silver Box Parlophone/EMI label.
Matrix: Side 1: YEX 637 - 2
Side 2: YEX 638 - 3
NO cut-out sheet. It is MISSING
Just to make sure everyonw knows - the cut-out sheet is MISSING.
Vinyl Condition: VG (Some light surface marks, light lines but nothing major. Overall very nice condition and plays great with no sticks or jumps. The record is a pleasure to listen to and the run-out groove works on side 2.
Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Plain white inner is a replacement).
Outer Sleeve Condition: G/VG (Fully laminated sleeve is a large water stain to the top left corner which also affects the reverse and inside the sleeve. Apart from that the sleeve is great).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
