Description
The Beatles Sgt. Peppers Mono 1967 UK 1st issue vinyl LP, 637/638-1, WIDE SPINE
...as per this release on Discogs - /release/7076167-The-Beatles-Sgt-Peppers-Lonely-Hearts-Club-Band Same as usual UK 1st pressing except for the covers spine is wider than usual which allows a small portion of front and rear cover pictures to be seen on the spine. Known as "Wide Spine" and issues.
1st UK MONO pressing. Black and yellow Parlophone label with ''The Gramophone Co.'' in the perimeter and ''Sold in the U.K. Subject To Resale Price Conditions'' below logo.
Gatefold laminated sleeve with flipback at inner spread top. Contains a single-sided card insert (full-color images for cut-out) and an un-punched white liner overprinted with red half-tone 'psychedelic' design.
The rare wide spine gatefold sleeve has some laminate creasing and a few marks, bit of wear on top corner; nice and clean inside; wide spine in very good order, a few creases and a couple of small dinks, see photos - nice and readable .
ORIGINAL flame/fool's inner is nice; some handling wear and tear and a fold/split on bottom edge.
Original cutout cards are excellent
Some wear on centre of labels, KT side 2; Both sides of the vinyl a little dulled with age and have a few scuffs and surface marks; nothing deep or that stands out.
Plays with no major issues; no jumps, powerful bits sound fantastic ; quieter bits and run-ins have some crackle, a few light clicks on side 1; nothing that overpowers - a very nice listen.
PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS AND THE CLIP - LOW START, NO RESERVE, 5-DAY AUCTION!!!; OR A VERY REASONABLE BUY IT NOW PRICE!
