The Beatles  "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"

This is the US Mono vinyl pressing on Capitol MAS-2653  from 1967.     It was #1 on Billboard for fifteen weeks, starting on 6/24/67.    It's one of the best and most famous albums in Rock And Roll.   

I'll do my best to describe it's label and cover variations.   The labels are black with color band around the edge.          It has the 2nd label variation that lists song two on side one as 'With A Little Help From My Friends'.          The matrix numbers are hand etched : side one : MAS-1-2653-G-12    and side two : MAS-2-2653-H-10.     I believe it is a Scranton pressing.   On the back cover at bottom right  it has the MACLEN Music credit and the horizontal micro print : '1967 Nems--Nems Enterprises Limited'.    It has the original psychedelic custom inner sleeve.    And it has the Sgt Pepper's cut-out sheet on thin paper.

This copy has a punch hole at top right.   It goes through both sides of the cover, through the custom inner sleeve, and through the Sgt Pepper's cut-out sheet.      This could be a returned copy that was cut out and re-sold.    Or it could be a promo copy given out by Capitol Records.

The songs are : Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, With A Little Help From My Friends, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, Getting Better, Fixing A Hole, She's Leaving Home, Being for The Benefit Of Mr. Kite, Within You Without You, When I'm Sixty Four, Lovely Rita, Good Morning Good Morning, Sgt Pepper's Reprise, and A Day In The Life. 

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record is VG+

The gatefold cover is VG+ with no ring wear, no writing, and no seam splits.   There is light overall cover wear and light seam wear.        The vinyl looks VG+ and it plays VG+, with a few very light handling marks.      The labels are perfect with no spindle marks.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 13 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 29 ounces ( 1 pound, 13 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
