This beautiful & NEAR MINT 1967 UK 1st STEREO pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 7027
Both labels include the 'Sold in U.K...' text & 'The Gramophone Co..' rim texts.
Matrix numbers: YEX 637-1 & YEX 638-1
Stamper codes: 3/GOG & 1/GOG
Vinyl weight: 148g
Housed within an early-type, fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed gatefold stereo cover with a 9mm wide spine.
100% complete with original red & white designer inner-sleeve & unused cut-out sheet.

A superb set bearing no more the 2/3 light light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole
Visual: NEAR MINT
Factory-fresh playing surfaces which retain all of their deep-gloss shine and which are as new/unmarked in strong daylight. Closer examination beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just a handful of barely visible wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine. No upgrade necessary here.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This exquisite sounding copy has received just a couple of careful plays on quality equipment and consequently there is no trace of any groove/playwear anywhere - even on the delicate 'She's Leaving Home'. Everything plays cleanly and clearly with just the trace of regular low-level vinyl background on the run ins and between tracks but no clicks, pops or any other audible distractions on this wonderful sounding disc.

Much harder to find than its mono counterpart, this earliest 'wide-spine' example is in truly exceptional condition.
The iconic front panel is clean & unworn and retains a totally unscratched high-gloss laminate with just two small 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards its opening edge.
Apart from a tiny bruise to the upper left, all front corners are in fine & all opening edges are sharp and undamaged.
Both panels inside the gatefold are immaculate, with no missing paper of wear to the upper flip-overs.
The rear panel is just as glossy with just two small 'thumbnails' & a small shelfwear bruise to the lower left corner.
both seams of both pockets are smooth, unstressed and unsplit with no flaking or worn laminate.
The spine is white and totally unworn with no damage or wear to the laminate covering.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with no seam splits, tears or writing.
