THE BEATLES - 'SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND'
This wonderful sounding UK 1st stereo pressing dates from initial June 1967 release on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 7027
Both labels have the 'Sold in UK...' text and 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.
There is an extra dot between the words 'IN' and 'UK' in the 'Sold in UK..' text on the side 1 label.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 1 label.
Matrices: YEX 638-1 & YEX 639-1
Stamper codes: 1/GO & 3,3/RR
Vinyl weight: 135g
Housed in a fully laminated, inner-flipover 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo gatefold cover.
Complete with original red & white inner-sleeve & unused cut-out sheet.

An immaculate pair showing just one or two barely visible spindle trails around each completely unworn centre hole.
Visual: MINT -
Factory-fresh, deep-gloss clean playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight with nothing more than a few ultra-light paper hairlines beneath halogen light. Tough to find a cleaner copy.
Audio: MINT -
Played one or twice at most, the sound quality is flawless & wonderful throughout.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
Clean, glossy & fully intact with light storagewear and no major faults. The iconic front panel is bright and unworn with just two light wrinkles to the front panel laminate but there are none at all on the rear. The corners are in nice shape showing just a small bruise to the front upper left and a little shelfwear rub to the rear lower left. Both panels inside the gatefold are immaculate with no wear to the edges of the flipovers. The spine is clean & fully worded and all seams are tight, smooth and unstressed.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with sharp opening edges and no stresses or splits to any seam.
