Original gatefold sleeve, pink swirl inner. No insert
Condition Report
Cover: The gatefold laminated sleeve is in Fair F condition. It is intact but with numerous creases, corner scuffs, a few stains and feathering at corners and opening. The spine has an incipient split and the bottom edge is also split for some of its length. Otherwise very serviceable with no writing or defacing.
Inner sleeve: The original inner has a split at the bottom edge and has a number of creases and folds and a small tear at the opening, but is otherwise clean, so in Fair condition
Labels: The labels are clean and unmarked and in Very Good VG++ condition – with expected spindle marks for a much played 50 year old record
Vinyl (visual) – The record has obviously been well used. There are numerous scuffs from taking the record in and out of the sleeve and also a few light superficial scratches. It could use a professional deep clean and so I would grade as Good G++
Vinyl (audio) – The record plays through with no jumps, sticks, skips or loud hiss, distortion, pops or crackle. There is audible light crackle in gaps between tracks and some quieter moments and maybe a flew light clicks here and there, but nothing that detracts from that lovely warm first press mono sound. All in all a solid VG and sounds better than it looks
So it’s not a museum piece – but a great everyday playing copy or collection filler until that pristine example comes along.
The record will be posted in a strong card mailer and the record removed from the cover to prevent further seam splits.
