Description
Early UK mono pressing of The Beatles - Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band on black and yellow Parlophone label.
This copy features the desirable PMC 7027 catalog number and XEX 637-1 / XEX 638-1 matrix numbers. The album includes the original Sgt. Pepper cutout insert and original Parlophone inner sleeve.
The record has been ultrasonic cleaned and fully plat tested. While the vinyl shows visual marks accumulated over the decades, it plays great, in my opinion. There are some background noises, but nothing serious. Playback remains enjoyable with some crackle and occasional pops, particularly during quieter passages, but no skips were encountered during testing.
The record is housed in an original gatefold sleeve. It appears to be laminated inside and out. It is printed by Garrod and Lofthouse which is stated on the bottom right of the back panel. The laminate is lifting in the top and bottom left of front cover with some creasing on the bottom right of the front cover and top left of the front cover. The spine includes some discoloration but remains solid. See photos for details.

Condition: • Vinyl: VG (conservative grading) Good gloss with some surface marks and thin surface scratches that do not affect playback. • Sleeve/Jacket: VG Gatefold jacket presents very well overall; however, there is slight delamination and creasing in areas (see photos).
