The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's...Parlophone UK Original Stereo LP + Inner)-1/ -1

	£		58
	$		77

This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a fully laminated gatefold sleeve which has inner flipbacks at the top edges of the inner gatefold. The sleeve is printed by "Garrod & Lofthouse". It comes with its original "Psychedelic" red & white inner sleeve. This is printed on paper. This has the "Patents Applied For" text. It comes with its original Cut-Out Insert. This is printed on card.

The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has yellow & black "Parlophone" labels. These have "The Gramophone Co..." and "Sold in UK..." texts. The "KT" tax code is embossed around the spindle hole on Side 1. The record has 1st press YEX 637-1 and YEX 638-1 matrix numbers. The mother stampers are RL 2 and GG 1 respectively.

A genuine UK Stereo 1st pressing complete with the Psychedelic Inner Sleeve & "cut-out" Insert. This are getting harder to find nowadays. I have some other rare & collectable UK original 1960's & 1970's Rock 7" Singles & LP's. This includes some other "Beatles" LP's and 7" Singles. Please see my other listings.

Gatefold Sleeve: There is a 3 cm area of moderate to considerable rubbing wear at the top of the spine. This includes the corner tip in that area. There is mild or very mild rubbing wear to the other three corner tips. There is another 8 cm area of moderate to considerable rubbing wear at the centre area of the spine face. A large portion of the spine text is completely rubbed away. There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear on the sleeve opening edges on some areas. This is not too noticeable. There is a small & very mild crease at the bottom corner tip area at the sleeve opening. This is on the front part of the gatefold sleeve only. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear on some areas. Overall, Good++ condition. It is only really the rubbing wear on the spine that holds this back from being a very reasonable copy.

Vinyl: There are about 8 light, mild or very mild hairline surface marks, or surface rub marks, on Side 1. These measure from 1 cm to 3 cm in length. There are two mild hairline surface marks on Side 2. There are some mild, very mild, more moderate to moderate sleeve rubs, or surface rub marks, which can be seen under a strong light. The paper inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on some areas. These, again, can only be seen under a strong light. Overall, Good condition.

Side 1's label has a mild rectangular sticker stain, & sticker residue, on it (see photo). Side 2's label is nice & clean. There is mild spindle wear.

I have fully play tested this LP & it plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall. There is some light, mild, very mild or very minor crackle in some quieter places. Overall, a very serviceable audio copy.

The card "cut-out" insert is in Excellent condition. It shows light, very mild or very minor handling creases on a few areas.

The custom "Psychedelic" Inner Sleeve is in Very Good minus condition. There is a 14 cm seam split at the centre area of the bottom edge. There are no other seam splits. There is light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing.

I shall place the vinyl in a separate plain paper inner sleeve to protect the original inner sleeve from any damage during the shipping process.
