In this auction is 1 original Beatles Swan Picture Sleeve with 1 original Beatles Swan 45 RPM record.
Here are the details:
· “SHE LOVES YOU” b/w “I’LL GET YOU” by The Beatles
· This is Swan Records S-4152.
· The “She Loves You” b/w “I’ll Get You” PICTURE SLEEVE was the ONLY BEATLES PICTURE SLEEVE ISSUED by SWAN RECORDS!
· The PICTURE SLEEVE is in NICE VG+ CONDITION with some light to moderate signs of handling. There are some light folds/creases and some disc impression. There are NO SEAM SPLITS, NO WRITING, NO RING WEAR, and NO TEARS on this sleeve! As you can see in the images, the sleeve is quite clean and with minimal wear. (NOTE: The bottom corners are NOT clipped. This is the way the sleeve was folded.)
· You can be assured that this PICTURE SLEEVE IS ORIGINAL! IT IS NOT A COUNTERFEIT!
· The Picture Sleeve was issued in January of 1964 with Swan Records that had black labels with silver print (like the record in this auction).
· The VINYL is in NICE VG+ CONDITION. There are some very light surface hairlines/scuffs. The vinyl has lots of gloss!
· This record was issued in early January, 1964.
· This pressing has flat black labels with silver printing. The labels do not have quotation marks around the song titles. The words “DON’T DROP OUT” are printed on the labels. “MASTERING BY RECO-ART PHILA” and the matrix numbers are stamped into the trail-off. This record was pressed by RCA.
· Here is an EARLY U.S. pressing and picture sleeve of this trademark Beatles hit, “She Loves You”, on the SWAN LABEL in VERY NICE CONDITION. (If you collect Beatles records, you know how tough it is to find Swan, Tollie and VJ picture sleeves in nice condition without heavy wear.)
· This record is significant!!! It’s one of the BEATLES’ EARLY SINGLES that helped launch “Beatlemania” and make The Beatles known in the U.S. market!!!
