I’m digging deep into my personal collection of Beatles and Beatles-related vinyl to put up for auction MORE BEATLES PICTURE SLEEVES, MANY IN EXCEPTIONALLY NICE CONDITION! So, if you want to begin a collection of Beatles Singles Picture Sleeves or are seeking to obtain or upgrade certain picture sleeves, you will definitely want to check out my other current auctions for items you may want.
In this auction are the following: 1original Beatles Picture Sleeve and 1 original Swan label 45 RPM record.
Here are the details about the record and picture sleeve in this auction:
· “SHE LOVES YOU” b/w “I’LL GET YOU” by The Beatles
· This is Swan Records S-4152.
· This record was issued in early January, 1964.
· The PICTURE SLEEVE is in VERY STRONG VG to VG+ CONDITION. There is very light overall wear with a small scuff on one side near the top. On that same side there is a very small mark near Ringo’s back and a very small tear on the edge near Ringo’s back. The small tear is only on that side of the sleeve and there is no paper missing. In fact, it's hardly noticeable (check out the images). There is NO writing and NO seam splits. There is just a hint (extremely slight) of ring wear, hardly significant enough to mention.
· The picture sleeve is guaranteed to be an authentic original sleeve, not a counterfeit/reproduction.
· This vinyl pressing has a flat black label with silver print.
· The words “DON’T DROP OUT” appear on the label.
· There are quotation marks around the song titles.
· The matrix numbers are pressed in the vinyl trail-off and “MASTERING RECO-ART PHILA.” is also pressed in the vinyl trail-off.
· “Gil Music Corp. BMI” appears on two lines on the A side label.
· The VINYL is in VG CONDITION with surface hairlines/scuffs but still has nice gloss.
· Here is an early U.S. pressing of this trademark Beatles hit, “She Loves You”, on the SWAN RECORDS LABEL (which did not sell well initially)
· This record is significant because it’s one of the BEATLES’ EARLY SINGLES that helped make them known in the U.S. market!!!
