I’m continuing to put up for auction MORE DUPLICATE BEATLES PICTURE SLEEVES & MATCHING 45 RPM RECORDS from my OWN EXTENSIVE VINYL COLLECTION. So, if you want to begin a collection of Beatles Singles Picture Sleeves or seeking to upgrade certain picture sleeves, you will definitely want to check out my other current auctions and upcoming auctions for items you may want.
In this auction is 1 original Beatles Swan Picture Sleeve with 1 original Beatles Swan 45 RPM record.
Here are the details about the record and picture sleeve in this auction:
· “SHE LOVES YOU” b/w “I’LL GET YOU” by The Beatles
· This is Swan Records S-4152.
· The “She Loves You” b/w “I’ll Get You” PICTURE SLEEVE was the ONLY BEATLES PICTURE SLEEVE ISSUED by SWAN RECORDS!
· The PICTURE SLEEVE is in VERY STRONG VG+ to NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION. There are just very light signs of wear/overall handling. There are NO SEAM SPLITS, NO WRITING, NO RING WEAR, and NO TEARS on this sleeve! (Check out the images and you’ll see how nice this sleeve is!)
· (BE ASSURED THAT THIS PICTURE SLEEVE IS ORIGINAL! IT IS NOT A COUNTERFEIT!)
· The Picture Sleeve was issued in January of 1964 with Swan Records that had black labels with silver print (like the record in this auction).
· The VINYL is in STRONG VG+ CONDITION. There are some very minor/ light surface hairlines/scuffs. The vinyl has lots of gloss! How many of these Swan “She Loves You” records have you seen that are just really trashed? A lot, l’m sure, based on my own experiences. But not this one!
· This pressing has flat black labels with silver printing. The labels have quotation marks around the song titles. The words “DON’T DROP OUT” are not printed on the labels. The words “MASTERING RECO-ART PHILA” are pressed into the trail-off vinyl.
· This record was issued in early January, 1964.
· Here is an EARLY U.S. pressing and picture sleeve of this trademark Beatles hit, “She Loves You”, on the SWAN LABEL (which did not sell well initially) in VERY NICE CONDITION. If you collect Beatles records, you know how tough it is to find Swan, Tollie and VJ records and picture sleeves in nice condition.
· This record is significant!!! It’s one of the BEATLES’ EARLY SINGLES that helped launch “Beatlemania” and make The Beatles known in the U.S. market!!!
