Scarce Beatles Ticket for a date The Beatles never played ! This Portsmouth Guildhall Concert was originally on 12 November 1963 but never took place due to Paul having Gastric Flu. Cue scenes in Portsmouth of mass hysteria crying at the time ! Happily you could keep the ticket for the rescheduled date of 3rd December 1963 I have one of these Tickets in my collection with the date crossed out and overwritten 3rd Dec in red pen It was very unusual for them to cancel anything at this stage in their career The newspapers in Portsmouth were full of pictures of young girls crying as news got out This was the full height of Beatlemania in the UK after the Palladium and Royal Variety Performances of early November 1963 I have listed the Gold Programme bought at this Concert separately on ebay The last photo is not included and shows The Beatles on that very day Dec 3rd 1963 at Portsmouth Posting Immediate Will Post Worldwide
