Description
In the 1960's juke boxes were very popular in ice cream parlors, restaurants and bars. In addition to the latest 45's juke boxes could also play EP's that had two or three songs on each side. Many artists had their music playing on EP's in juke boxes. There were EP's from The Four Seasons, the Beach Boys, Elvis and many other rock artists. So when the Beatles hit, it was only natural to put their music out on EP for play in juke boxes. Here I am selling the title strips that would be placed in the juke box front panel to show which songs and which button to press for those songs on a juke box.
For "Something New" I am selling the very rare "Something New" LP Cover "Mini." These were used in certain juke boxes where these "Mini" covers could be featured on the front panel.
Next is a COMPLETE panel of five title strips for the "Something New" juke box EP. This strip seems to be older and printed on paper whereas some title strip panels were later printed on plastic.
**No records are included here, just the title strips and Mini.
ALL of the above items are original and were purchased by me at an old juke box service operation. These are NOT re-prints, copies or counterfeits. They are the real thing!
These items are all from 1964 when the Beatles first hit and when Capitol Records made these to get Beatles songs on juke boxes across America!
