Description
This is the Vee Jay Records 1964 Release of The Beatles album Songs, Pictures and Stories Of The Fabulous Beatles VJ 1092 (the actual record is VJ 1062 as were all of them). The record is in a Very Nice Clean Strong VG+ and would be graded higher except for 2 reasons. Side 1 has an extremely thin surface line (NOT scratch) that keeps me from grading it higher and Side 2 has 2 extremely thin surface lines (NOT scratches) that also keep me from grading this record VG++. The cover is in a nice respectable clean VG+ condition. It is the original gatefold cover with some lite wear as can be seen in the pictures. On the top right seam, above Paul's head, there is an approximate 1 1/2" piece of tape on that top seam. The rest of the seams and spine is intact with the writing on the spine legible. It should be noted that in the center of the gatefold, when opened, there is a split of approximately 1" in the white paper at the fold. On the back cover there is the original Price Sticker in the upper right corner from Two Guys Department Store as the industry in 1964 had not adopted the standard to shrink wrap all albums yet. The digital picture of the gatefold appears to show the left fold open cover a darker off-shade of white from the right side, but that is the digital picture itself, in person they are just about the same shading of white background. Apologies for all the details but I find it better to describe any flaws, details, etc. Shipping in the U.S. is $5.25. If you would like Ins. please let me know and I will check the rates at the Post Office which goes according to your Zip Code. If you win more than one auction, I will calculate to adjust the shipping.
