Description

Up for auction is this The Beatles LP on Vee-Jay Records released in 1964. The record is titled Songs, Pictures And Stories Of The Fabulous Beatles. The record was released as VJ 1092 but was actually just a repackaging of Introducing The Beatles. The record contained in this auction is Introducing The Beatles #VJLP 1062 but is not an original record it is a counterfeit version. You can tell by the record label. Record is in VG+ condition. I am unable to play it as my record player is currently not working (damn!)It is still a very nice collectible mainly because of the record cover. As pictures show it has the 2/3rds size top cover. I do not know if the cover is an original or not. I do not know if there is a way to tell. It is still a much more desirable version than the non gatefold type covers of this record cover. You will notice in the picture that top edge of cover has been taped and a small piece of tape on bottom very center cover fold area. I will be listing many more The Beatles records as time permits me. Will be happy to combine items in one shipment to save winning bidder shipping charges. Will ship this record via USPS for $4.00.
