• record has lots of fine scratches, but plays without skips
• sleeve has a 12 cm seam split on the upper side and a small one inside (see pictures)
• all in all a nice copy of this rare album for its age (56 years!)
This record was only released in 1964 by Veejay in the USA and was some kind of a cash grab as it peaked at #63 in the US charts. It was a re-release of „Introducing the Beatles“ which is why the record label still says VJ 1062 with the wrong album title.
The track list is nearly similiar to the UK album „Please Please Me“ with „Love Me Do“ and „P.S. I Love You“ missing.
Strange enough the count at the beginning of „I Saw Her Standing There“ was edited out - but the "Four!" is still audible.
