Up for auction is this original 45 rpm extended play record by The Beatles - Vee-Jay #VJEP 1-903. Goldmine Price Guide to 45 RPM records values this record in near mint condition at 125.00. Songs on the record are Misery / Taste Of Honey / Ask Me Why / Anna. It is the version with the plain black label and the oval Vee Jay logo. As the picture I have provided shows the original owner (a teenage girl named Sherrie) got a hold of a Beatlemaniac paper cut-out for records and glued it to the label. I think it is really kind of cool. I have never seen one of these before. Probably came out of a Beatles magazine or something. For some collectors it may detract value from the record. For others it may (as it does for me) add a little something to it making it a much more unique record. Anyway, it is on to stay for sure. The other side label is in really nice condition except for a real slight water mark. The vinyl is in VG+ condition. There are no deep scratches at all. Very clean and glossy. The cardboard picture sleeve is in really fine VG+ condition with only a sticker removal spot (or something) on the front (to the right of the song titles) being the only flaw. Goldmine Price Guide values this cover in near mint condition at $60.00. All in all a very nice collectable Beatles record. Will ship this anywhere in the world to the winning bidder. In the USA I will charge $4.00 to ship. Anywhere else will be based on the country it would be going to.
