The Beatles - The Beatles' Story (Capitol TBO 2222) (1964) 1st edition U.S. release. Mono. RARE East/West Coast Pressing!
Here is a stunning edition of an already rare release from The Beatles, made even more scarce due to the labels being marked Side 1 and Side 2 on one record and Side 3 and Side 4 on the other. (Later, more common editions, have Side 1 and Side 4 on one, Side 2 & 3 on the other).
Most of the East and West Coast records produced by RCA have the rarer First Pressing 1/2,3/4 pairings.As the 1/2, 3/4 discs were manufactured by a subcontractor,they were pressed in lesser quantities and are much scarcer and valuable than the 1/4, 2/3 records !
This is one of the few official releases from The Beatles that has never been issued on CD!
Cover: Excellent! Nice colors, bright to slightly off whites,solid black and white photos on covers and interior without flaw, only slight aging noticable from surface wear (from sliding in and out of a record collection over the years). The only bummer (and the only thing keeping this from being near mint) is two splits in the extreme tops of the front and back cover (probably from how someone put the albums back in at one time). This is not obvious until one begins to look at the album more closely. A stunning cover overall and the best I've ever seen for this release! Awesome (despite the minor flaws).
Album: First Record (side 1 & 2) looks almost brand new! Seriously amazing. Played (maybe) but if so, extremely carefully. Some slight scruffing (if you really, really look for it) from sleeve, but other than that - in amazing condition! Second record (side 3 & 4) has more scuffing apparent but still no major flaws of any kind Has been played a few times, but VERY carefully. There is obvious wear from the sleeve but no visible scratches or serious issues in any way.
Label: Capitol TBO-2222 Mono - Black Capitol label with colorband with person's name (Sheldon) handwritten on both sides in pen.

Note: I recently acquired a huge amount of albums, singles and EP's, the vast majority of which are in VG+ - NM condition. These were all stored in a nice, dry environment (no mildew here folks) and were obviously cared for by the former owners.
That said, buyers should be aware that some of these albums have been sitting around for 50+ years so expect some minor surface wear on covers (mostly from sliding in and out of the collection) and some visible aging (slight yellowing of whites, etc) to be present. In cases where this is may be more of an issue, I have taken the liberty of noting it in my listing.

There may be some dust on some of the jackets and some records may need to be cleaned before playing as well. While this won't even be an issue for 98% of my items being auctioned on E-Bay, I just want my potential buyers to be aware of this.
I will combine shipping on multiple items (please let me send you and updated invoice before you pay) and will gladly ship to addresses outside of the United States but ONLY using International Priority mail (or some other trackable service) to ship. I am only responsible for the shipping of your items - any additional taxes, fees, charges, etc on International orders will be the responsibility of the buyer.
