A fab sounding copy of The Beatles THE WHITE ALBUM.
An Original Early 1st Press Mono Top Loader No: 0039169 in VG+ condition with an excellent set of Photos.
Gatefold Cover: VG+/EX
Any numbered cover of The White Album is a unique one off and collectible Work of Art by itself, as it was designed by the oft acclaimed Godfather of Pop Art, the UK artist, Richard Hamilton.
The outer high gloss front and back covers lie flat and look lovely, with relatively minor age yellowing. There is one small crease and one light thumbnail indentation from handling on the back cover. Light record ring and very minor corner and top edge wear. The spine has suffered areas of laminate damage and loss, which prevents a higher grade for the outer cover overall than VG+

VINYLS: Visually VG Sound VG+
All sides display superficial marks under strong light but there are no deep scratches.
All sides have been play tested on a sound system contemporary with the record’s release in 1968 and in my opinion all sound fab, even in the quieter passages.
There is a clarity and depth of tone, only found in these rare 1st pressings.
I heard only a handful of short low level pops and crackle across all four sides and no loud clicks or skipping.

LABELS: VG
No EMI text on any of the labels.
All four famous Apple labels have clean looking spindle centres.
They all display spindle traces from play, which become more apparent under bright light.
INNER SLEEVES: POOR
Rarely found fragile black originals (shiny outside, rough texture inside).
They both have closed tears around the die cut centres, the odd nibble to the top openings and the start of centre side splits. They still contain the records but are in poor condition.

A beautiful set of four high gloss prints. No creases, pin holes, tears, glue, blu-tack or sellotape marks.
