MFSL 14 LP Vinyl Box Set with Art Book & Geo Disc

This auction is for a used "The Beatles - The Collection" original Master Recordings MFSL box set. Limited Edition - #13,187 of 25,000. This rare and long out-of-print set comes with the original 14 Beatles vinyl LPs - remastered through Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs. Includes the Geo-Disc which is a 12 inch plastic platter used to align and set your turntable's stylus and cartridge for optimal playback. The box set also comes with the 12x12 40-page full color Art-Book which features notes on the MFSL process and contains a certificate of authenticity. The booklet also contains reproductions of all the Beatles LP covers, front, back and the gatefold art where applicable with a discography at the back. The whole book is surrounded by a sturdy white cardboard outer sleeve.

Released in late 1982, 'The Collection' was widely hailed by critics and Beatles fans alike for its superb sound. Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL) pressed additional copies of this Beatles boxed set up until 1985 for a total production run of only 25,000.

Each of the 14 discs in the box set have the white labels with black print. All surrounded by a cardboard gatefold sleeve and housed in custom covers. The custom covers show a photo of a tape reel and an open tape box which gives information as to when the tape was removed and used for various pressings, etc.

This set is in very clean condition. We have not played these records, but upon inspection they appear to have almost no wear. It would surprise us if these records had been played more than once or twice. However, we are not professional vinyl record graders. All packaging and the Geo-Disc are also in very clean condition. We don't know the exact history of ownership on this, but it is obvious that the previous owner took very good care of this amazing collection.

Payment

Payment must be made within 7 days of closing sale.  Paypal is required payment for all items; shipping will be to confirmed paypal address only.  Signature will be required for all items over $250 in purchase or combined purchase.  We perfectly understand that accidents or events happen, so please contact us right away if you are unable to pay for the won/purchased item. 

Returns
