Original very early US Mono pressing of The Beatles “The Early Beatles” released by Capitol Records on March 22, 1965. The currently listed copy contains the “AudioMatrix” stamp not only in the runout grooves but also on the back cover. It can be assumed that this example was a sample copy and belonged to the New York office of AudioMatrix, Inc. Along with “The Early Beatles”, the “AudioMatrix” machine stamp can be found in the runout grooves of the other Beatles albums including “Something New” and “Revolver”. A mention of these incredibly rare issues can be found in the Bruce Spizer’s book as well as of their pressing plants that remain unknown. Nevertheless, the plant where this currently listed copy of “The Early Beatles” with the ”AudioMatrix” stamp was pressed at could be identified based on the “AB” abbreviation in the runout groove on both sides.  This is the Abbey Road pressing plant which was located in Newark, NJ. Black multi-color band labels with the Capitol Records logo contain the 2.75” pressing ring and “T-2309” catalog number. The full matrix numbers featuring the “AudioMatrix” and “10-66” date stamp in the runout grooves of the 1st pressing vinyl are as follows: Side 1 - T1-2309A AB 10-66 AudioMatrix; Side 2 - T2-2309B AB 10-66 AudioMatrix. This rare copy includes the original "Capitol's New Improved Full Dimensional Stereo Sounds Better Than Stereo Has Ever Sounded Before" olive inner sleeve.

The cover is graded as Near Mint Minus. It's very clean and doesn't have any splits, ring wear, wear, scuffs, writing or residue. Beautiful snow white border. The back cover has just several very light and small indentation marks which are barely visible. The rigid spine contains a fully readable text. The original Capitol inner sleeve is in Near Mint condition and doesn't have any splits or tears. The vinyl contains a beautiful factory lacquer barely having any marks, perhaps only several very light and small non-feelable hairlines that could be seen under a strong light. The labels are in Near Mint (Practically Mint) condition and don't have any scuffs, wear or spindle marks. The vinyl sounds amazing only having some very light occasional static that's heard only at a loud volume during the quiet passages and which most likely would go away if the record was professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine.
