Description
This is a very nice gatefold stereo copy of The Beatles “White Album” as issued on Apple Records by Toshiba-EMI LTD of Japan (catalogue number AP-8570-71) as part of the Beatles Forever series. This series was issued sometime in the early 1970s when Toshiba EMI reissued all of the Beatles catalogue on Apple Records. Both records are in excellent condition and the label is the Apple label. The record has been cleaned it with a VPI record cleaner, and treated it with LAST record preservative, and demagnetized them with a Furutech DeMag, In general the records are very quiet and have no scratches or scuffs. The cover is in very good condition with no seam splits but the all four corners are compressed and have a slight bend on two of them. The front cover has the word “The Beatles” embossed and the number “No. A228767” stamped. Included is the OBI, but the photos, poster, and insert sheet are all missing. It has the original black inner sleeves as well. The songs include: Back in the U.S.S.R.; Dear Prudence; Glass Onion; Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da; Wild Honey Pie; The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill; While My Guitar Gently Weeps; Happiness is a Warm Gun; Martha My Dear; I’m so tired; Blackbird; Piggies; Rocky Raccoon; Don’t Pass Me By; Why don’t we do it in the road?; I Will; Julia; Birthday; Yer Blues; Mother Nature’s Son; Everybody’s Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey; Sexy Sadie; Helter Skelter; Long, Long, Long; Revolution 1; Honey Pie; Savoy Truffle; Cry Baby Cry; Revolution 9; and Good Night.
