Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

This is an auction for:  The Beatles – The White album – Original UK MONO Vinyl LP album from 1968.

Top loading sleeve. Embossed “The Beatles” on the front. Numbered 0240748

Has “An EMI recording” On the centre labels indicating 2nd pressing.

This one has the 4 photos present.

It is NOT have the poster. That is MISSING!!!!!

PLEASE NOTE: The records are NOT in the best condition but are fully playable. A good entry level for someone looking for an original UK MONO pressing for a lot less money than a perfect one. Please read the description carefully as I always describe very honestly and critically.

Vinyl Condition: Fair (The records look visually poor but play well. Record 1 has lots of surface marks, scuffs and scratches. There is nothing deep or heavy. Visually the record looks very unappealing however it does play so much better than it looks. There is audible crackle throughout and that might put some people off but it can still be enjoyed and is not horrific. There clicks and pops in places but no sticks or jumps at all. Record 2 is in better visual condition. There are some surface marks, scuffs and scratches but nothing deep. It also plays well, again with surface crackle and some clicks and pops but no sticks or jumps. Overall the record are not in great condition but play through fine with no sticks or jumps. There is crackle throughout but no sticks or jumps. Overall this is a good entry level original UK MONO for a lot less than a perfect one).

Inner Sleeve Condition: Fair (The black inners are complete but have some rips and tears around the centre holes. Some creases and folds etc but are decent and complete. I have of course included new white polylined inners as well to keep everything tidy).  

Outer Sleeve Condition: G/VG (Fully laminated sleeve is in very nice condition. There is an approx. 4cm split to the right seam. Not very noticeable. Some corner wear and some minor creasing to the laminate in places. Some age related discolouration which is so common with this album but is in nice overall condition).

I grade my records as follows:

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
