Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: The Beatles – The White album – Original Double Vinyl LP album from 1968.
Original Numbered pressing: 0595036.

Includes the 4 pictures which are in very nice condition and the poster which is good. Some feint dirt marks to the poster but no tears.

Vinyl Condition: G/VG (Records have light surface marks, light scratches and some more visible marks in places but are in good shape for their age and play very well. There is some crackle and some clicks and pops in places but no sticks or jumps. Sound quality in nice. There are a few places where several clicks/pops are heard but overall this is a good listen. The centre labels are good but side 3 and side 4 labels both have a sticker removal mark. I have photographed the worst which is side 4. Otherwise ok).
Inner Sleeve Condition: G/VG (Original black inners are complete. Some small splits and white marks visible but generally pretty nice and at least they are complete).
Outer Sleeve Condition: G/VG (Laminated top opening sleeve is pretty good for its age. There is the usual age related yellowing and creasing to the laminate. There is some lifting to the laminate in places and some wear around the corners. Generally pretty good for its age).
I grade my records as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
