Description

Original 1st Issue of Twist And Shout EP from the summer of 1963 on UK Parlophone. Matrix 1N/2N. Please note this Ep does NOT hold the 'Sold in The U.K...' statement on the labels. This is indicative of 1st issue. Any copies with this statement clearly are not from 1963 and are mid-sixties reissues. The labels also mention 'recording first published 1963' and 'Parlophone' around the perimeter. They are also stamped with the tax code - 'MKT'. The record comes housed in an original cover with original rounded corners - there is no printers credit.
Vinyl (Ex) Has clearly been looked after down the years and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Interference is minimal just a touch of light static momentarily at the start of side 2 - and that's pretty much all that's vaguely worth mentioning... and some stunning audio! Please note 'Andy' has been written onto the label.
Cover (Ex-) Remains in great condition - these Ep covers often turn up a bit dog eared, but not here! Nice shiny front cover with a couple of creases. The rear has not faded at all and only shows the very lightest of handling marks. Spine is perfectly intact and there's no edge wear to speak of. Please note:- there is a hole punch in the bottom left corner. The cover maintains great rigidity. A beautiful specimen indeed.
