Description
The Beatles second release in Canada February 3, 1964. This album was pressed in Canada by Capital Records, the famous Capital 6000 series. There is no brackets on Canada which means early pressing. The catalog number is T 6054 without a dash which means that this edition was made in 1964. The record is XEX 455 on side one and XEX 456 - 2 on side two. The vinyl has markings on it and hair line scratches and they do not affect the sound quality. The Capital 6000 records were top quality and it still shows today when it's played. Excellent sound quality and it is a high grade of VG + to excellent. The vinyl pictures kind of show this.
The cover is in decent shape for it's age, the seams are showing wear, cracking and such. No old tape on this album cover. It's been stored in a plastic cover for at 30 years. There isn't any writing on the cover and no rips. The "Litho in Canada" is right on the edge of the front cover but the top was pasted a bit high which obstructs the catalog number on the front. That's just the way it was made on it's day of production. I will combine shipping into one package if you buy multiple items.
Songs on this Canadian version are a mixture of 12 songs off the UK first release of Please Please Me leaving off "I Saw Her Standing There" and "Misery", these songs were replaced with the 2 A side singles from 1963, "She Loves You" and "From Me To You".
