This is a no reserve auction with a starting bid of .99. Highest bid takes it! I found this at a local yard sale.  Here’s someone’s chance at getting a complete set of Beatles albums for a really good price. The set is NOT PERFECT and has flaws. Please take this into consideration when bidding, as this is an AS IS - FINAL SALE WITH ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS.

I am not a store, just someone who likes to buy and sell things on eBay. I have excellent feedback and I like to fully describe as best I can and ship them out safely and fast once I received payment.

I will try to describe these albums as best I can by pointing out any flaws I can find. I have played all of the records on my Audio technics turntable and have made notes about their playability and listed this here. The covers (jackets) are all in good condition with wear at edges and corners.

1.     Please Please Me

Side 1: plays great. No problems

            Side 2: small visible scratch on “There’s a Place” barely audible

2.     Meet the Beatles: Jacket needs a little glue at edge

Side 1:label puckered a little, track 1 skips, not sure why because no visible scratches, but some pops and skips.

Side 2: two small visible scratches on last two tracks, but tracks seem to play fine

3.     Hard Day’s Night

Side 1: some sort of “ding” mark visible on track 3 from something that marked other side of vinyl. This track is not playable. Perhaps it could be fixed? Track 2 also has some mark there but it plays fine.

Side 2: There’s a pop on track 2, track 3 is unplayable because of surface mark (like something pointed dropped on it). There’s a pop on track 4, a visible scratch on track 5 but it plays fine.

4.     Help

Side 1: visible mark between tracks 1 and 2 but not audible. Pop on track 3 but plays through

Side 2: visible mark between tracks 2 and 3, but plays fine. Pop on track 3 an about 2 rotations. Small audible scratch between tracks 5 and 6. Stops after 1st verse. Plays through.

5.     Rubber Soul

Side 1: Visible scratch on track 1, pops but plays through

Side 2: no visible problems. Plays great.

6.     Revolver

Side 1: Visible scratches. Pops but plays through.

Side 2: no visible scratches. Plays fine.

7.     For Sale

Side 1: Very nice. Plays fine. No visible problems.

Side 2: Very nice. Plays fine. No visible problems.

8.     Sgt. Peppers – intact insert in excellent condition

Side 1: Nice No visible problems. Plays great.

Side 2: Two barely noticeable marks, cannot hear though. Plays good.

9.     Yellow Submarine

Side 1: Two visible marks on track 1 with an audible pop. Visible mark between tracks 4 and 5 but cannot hear.

Side 2: Looks and plays good.

10. White Album – Poster and 4 pictures are great condition

Album 2 Side 1: Faint visible scratch but cannot hear.

Album 2 Side 2: Very faint visible scratch. Barely audible.

11. Abbey Road

Side 1: Noisy with pops and hisses. Looks great, but perhaps dirty?

Side 2: Plays much better than side 1, but still a tiny amount of pops and hisses mainly just in the first few seconds of track 1.

12. Let it Be

Side 1: no visible scratches. Plays well.

Side 2: no visible scratches. Plays well.

13. Rarities

Side 1: Looks great, plays great.

Side 2: Looks great, plays great.

The outer blue box is in fairly good condition and includes a paper with album list. Please see the photos for condition. There are a few marks, scuffs and minor tears.

This is the British Box set of Beatles albums. I believe it is the UK version because it has the German version of She Loves You and I want to Hold Your Hand on the Rarities album. I’m not sure of the exact date of the set, but from my research I think it may be one of the early sets. This is based on things like the way the gloss is on some of the albums.
