1967 UK MONO Parlophone LP
Original englische Mono-Pressung von 1967 des klassischen Beatles-Albums Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, welches bereits in einigen Ländern (einschließlich Deutschland) gar nicht mehr in mono erschien. Das Mono-Mix hat diverse erhebliche Unterschiede zum Stereo-Mix (kann man im Internet nachlesen) und ist die eigentlich von den Beatles selbst "abgesegnete" Version, besonders George Harrison befand die Idee, mehr als einen Audiokanal zu benutzen für ziemlich absurd... Bei der Stereo-Abmischung waren die Beatles, entgegen der Mono-Version, gar nicht mehr im Studio anwesend.

Die LP zeigt deutliche Gebrauchsspuren: Ein kleines Stück von der Kante fehlt, was die ersten 20 Sekunden von Seite A unspielbar macht - Seite B lässt sich komplett abspielen. Sie hat einige Kratzer, die Klicken verursachen und diverse Oberflächenwischer. Einige auf Seite B sehen recht böse aus, sind aber ihrerseits nicht hörbar. Durchaus anhörbar, aber sicherlich kein Sammlerzustand.
Das Cover hat leichte Abnutzungserscheinungen, links obere Ecke ist etwas gewellt, ansonsten OK. (s. Photos)
Original UK mono pressing of the Beatles' classic 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, which already didn't even see a mono release in a bunch of countries (such as Germany). The mono mix has many considerable differences compared to the stereo, and was the generally preferred version of the individual Beatles, especially George Harrison felt the idea to use two channels for an audio recording to be quite absurd... The Beatles, who had attended the mono mixing, weren't even present in the studio anymore when the stereo mixing was done.

The LP shows clear signs of wear: A little part of the edge is chipped, which makes the first 20 seconds of Side A unplayable - Side B plays fine. The LP has a few marks that cause audible pops and various surface marks. There are some ugly-looking ones on side B, which are, however, not audible. Indeed listenable, but certainly not a collectors copy.
Sleeve has some wear and is a bit wavy on the top left corner, otherwise fine. (see pictures) Side 1:
