The Beatles Vinyl LP HELP UK 1965 1st Press Rare Outline Mono PMC 1255 XEX 549. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
Very first UK mono press of Help
The matrix numbers on this copy are XEX 549 and XEX 550
The perimeter text starts The Gramophone Co Ltd and there is Sold in U.K. subject… text below the yellow Parlophone. Second presses also have this but what marks this out as a first press is the * to the right of I Need You on the side 1 label. You’ll see it’s seperated from the song title by a space, on second presses there is no space.
The sleeve is in nice condition - there is one slight crease and a little discolouration due to age
The emitex inner has some creasing and a tear. See photos. I will send with brand new inner sleeve too.
The record itself still has a lovely shine and has the usual light marks you'd expect to see on a record of this age. The last time I played it, which was last week, it played great with some very faint crackle here and there.
