Description
The Beatles Vinyl LP Parlophone Mono Rubber Soul First Pressing LOUD CUT version. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
I purchased this record, probably on a wet Saturday afternoon, in 1965.
It was played regularly initially but hasn’t been played for over 50 years.until this week It’s been stored in a record storage unit.
The condition of the sleeve is VG+ the front being glossy, unmarked and the spine well defined. There is a mall amount of wear to the opening edges of the cover. The back has some age discolouring and my name printed in one corner .
The vinyl is PMC 1267 and has the matrixes XEX-579-1 and 580-1 The label states “sold in the UK” and refers to “The Gramophone Co”
I understand these markings identify it as a First Pressing Loud Cut version.
The vinyl is in VG+ condition with a number of marks and light scratches on each side however these are cosmetic as I bought a new turntable this week and was able to play the record for the first time in 50 years and I was most impressed with how well it played, clear and bright with no skips or jumps and with the exception of some ticks between tracks no background noise.
The label is in VG condition with some spindle marks and a small mark under the Made in Gt Britain on Side 1. There is a KT tax mark on Side 1
The original inner sleeve is not available and it has a new poly lined paper sleeve.
