Description
Very rare Vee-Jay DX 30, 2 LP set originally issued in August, 1964. A last gasp to re-release 12 Beatles songs they had rights to before Capitol regained them in October 1964. The set brings together two rather common previous released LPs-- 1) INTRODUCING THE BEATLES and 2) GOLDEN HITS OF THE FOUR SEASONS. The 'scorecard' on the back HAS NOT been filled out (another rare event) The LP set sold poorly when released as most Beatles or Four Seasons fans had the material already and the price of a two LP set was restrictive to most kids. Apparantly, only 18,000 mono copies were sold.
Comes with reproduced poster. Original poster is not here. Very Nice condition all around !
Cover is VG+ condition. Bright with only slightest wear. Split at top front mouth two inches. Bumped corner upper left. Presents very well. Comes with original VJ inner dust sleeves. Records graded "Beatles" VG+ condition. Full original shine. very few light scratches. Only a slight handling slide mark or two. Very Nice ! Second record "Four Seasons" is VG++ condition. Full original shine. Labels on both are VG+++. Super rare package as only 18,000 or less were purchased in 1964. Very Nice album package here !
Packed well with records removed from cover and placed in generic rice paper sleeves. All placed in a protective plastic cover.
