This is a genuine first press edition of this classic album.
Sleeve:
Very Good (+) condition. The laminate is unbroken but it has turned a creamy off-white with age to some extent, though still a really nice clean copy. It is TOP OPENING and the two side flipbacks are intact and crisp. The serial number is 0143732 and is very clear and crisp. The spine is a little scuffed but the writing is legible.
The records:
Disc 1
Side1 has stamper codes 1L and D1/33/3/10 at 3 O’Clock and 9 O’Clock respectively. It plays as EXCELLENT.
Side 2 has stamper codes AH and 3. This side plays as EXCELLENT.
This disc has the Sold in UK subject to … text and the words An EMI recording on the left.
The labels are sound with some signs of spindle wear.
Disc 2
Side 3 has stamper codes 1 and R and plays as EXCELLENT.
Side 4 has stamper codes 2 and R and plays as EXCELLENT.
This disc has the Sold in UK subject to … text but DOES NOT have the EMI recording text.
The labels are sound with some signs of spindle wear. PLEASE NOTE there are some visible marks on Side 4 that do not affect the overall sound quality but do present some occasional background crackle.
The Inners:
These are the original matt black inners. Both are intact with some creasing one has some repair with black tape around the edges. The repairs are fairly unobtrusive.
The poster
Is in EXCELLENT condition with no pin holes, marks or stains.
The photos
These are as new.
Altogether this is a really good example of this increasingly hard to find record in such complete condition.
I package albums in record mailers, stiffened with card. These may be recycled mailers as I'm thinking of the environment. Please see my feedback if you are in doubt. Please note I ONLY accept Paypal.
