Description

The Beatles- 'THE BEATLES (WHITE ALBUM)’ UK mono 1ST  pressing (No. 0132752) ***ULTRA RARE MIS- PRESSING!!! SIDE THREE BEARS NO MOTHER STAMPER!!!***

***Starting on auction here is a VERY RARE BEATLES record, a MONO 1ST pressing of their Iconic 1968 album, THE BEATLES (AKA THE WHITE ALBUM)! This pressing is a complete and 100% original set, with its original black apple inners and numbered TOP opening laminated sleeve, along with the original photos, this copy is an unusual copy as it has a VERY rare mispressing, disc two on side 3 bears no mother stampers (the numbers positioned at 9 o'clock to the matrix number) I have checked thouroughly throughout the whole run out groove to make sure this is correct, the only numbers present on this side is the matrix number (XEX 711-3) and the 3 O'clock stampers (GRD). Also side one has the LOWEST possible stampers at 1/G, (with side two being 4/MG) and also the LOWEST matrix numbers possible at XEX 709-1 and XEX 710-1!!!!!***

***The condition of the records are showing that they have moderatley been played but are both still in very nice condition!!! Indeed all lables still look crisp and would certainly grade as EXCELLENT PLUS with no names or wear and only VERY limited spindle markings to each one!!! The play to all discs too is extremely good, all sides would EASILY grade as VERY GOOD- VERY GOOD PLUS for audio quality, perhaps the odd bit of light background in ceratin quiet areas but absolutely NOTHING interfering, with NO distortion!!!! The visual condition of the surface of the records is also grading well, side one bears a couple of very light scuffings under bright light but still is looking VERY clean, and would certainly grade as VERY GOOD PLUS!!! Side two has what looks like a small fingernail scuffing however still grades as VERY GOOD, with sides three and four also grading as VERY GOOD!!! Still very nice discs with a beautifull deep dark unworn glossy shine!!!!!***

***The main sleeve is its correct LAMINATED gatefold TOP OPENING sleeve grading as being in VERY GOOD condition! Overall a very nice example of this very rare sleeve which is nearly always in no better than average condition, some light creasing to the front, however this is NOTHING severe at all, and is overall a HIGHLY respectable example, with NO yellowing and NO names or stickers!!!!! The ORIGINAL photos/ spacers/ poster all grade as EXCELLENT PLUS!!!!!! Stunning and looking unused, it is clear that they have very rarely been removed from the sleeve!!! The black inners too are in superb shape, untorn and uncreased and are grading a superb EXCELLENT!!!!***

MY RECORDS ARE STRICTLY GRADED USING THE STANDARD RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM, I DO NOT LIST ANY RECORDS USUALLY UNDER THE GRADING OF VERY GOOD UNLESS THEY ARE OF RARITY VALUE...

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Near Mint (NM) The record looks brand new with no scuffing or any deterioration in sound quality and only the smallest hint that its ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
