Description
WITH THE BEATLES PCS 3045 STEREO
Later pressing (1965ish) UK release of this 1963 LP with small stereo on the front.
Side 1 YEX 110-2 (3 MM) Side 2: YEX 111-2 (1 MM)
LABELS: Excellent, clean, relatively few spindle markings. ‘STEREO in silver text on the labels. (i.e. not a mono record.) Has ‘Sold In UK…..’ across the label and ‘The Gramophone… rim text indicating a 1965/66 pressing. No visible tax code on this copy.
VINYL: The heavyweight, excellent looking vinyl is exceptionally clean and relatively unmarked. A few minor surface marks. Playback is EXCELLENT +, really clear stereo sound with just a few minor clicks. No skips or sticks. Top quality Vinyl and audio.
COVER: The Garrod & Lofthouse Patents Pending tri flipback cover is EXCELLENT. The flipbacks are all strong and intact. The cover still retains its whiteness on the back and the laminate on the front is virtually uncreased and the original photo still looks stunning. The smaller ‘stereo’ on the top right hand corner indicates a post 1963 pressing. There is just one blemish, the numbers 39/11, (the original price?) are written in the top right hand corner on the rear of the cover. On the back ‘You Really Gotta Hold On Me’ is listed instead of the correct ‘Got A’.
The original tracing paper lined EMITEX inner from 1965 is still good and strong and protects the record very well but it does have a few creases and somebody has again written a few numbers on it but nothing too distracting.
