*Will be ultrasonically cleaned prior to despatch and placed into new anti static sleeve. A new poly outer will also be added with all the contents inside. i do not rate anything over VG+ due to subjectivity of grading. Would rather under promise and surprise then disappoint*
Your item will be shipped securely, professionally, and exactly as described. Original 1968 UK mono first pressing of The Beatles’ White Album, housed in the correct top‑loading sleeve numbered 0129252 and complete with both black inners, a poster and all four portrait photos, carrying the earliest -1 lacquer cuts on all four sides (XEX 709‑1 / 710‑1 / 711‑1 / 712‑1) with mother and stamper codes from the early–mid part of the first pressing run (Side 1: GG M, Side 2: G M 0, Side 3: 0 A, Side 4: HL), confirming a genuine 1968 mono issue.
While the sleeve presents well with honest age, including a crack in the laminate along the spine though the spine itself remains in good condition. This sleeve would not look out of place in any record collection
There are moments where it is completely clean and VG+ however there are sometracks where the background crackle is quite recognisable. There are also a couple of tracks where there is a skip in it (back in the ussr being one of these). This is reflected in the price point of this listing. The vinyls dont look that bad to be honest hence why i bought them in the first place but the skips does kill the grade off. Without the skips itd be a solid VG just because of the background crackle on some tracks. Very odd vinyl as ive seen other records look a lot worse and sound a lot better. To be honest not sure how to grade them i guess F due to skips but with passages that play VG and occasionally up to VG+ however i would say do not have high expectation for this vinyl. I have reflected this in the pricing, if the vinyl was of good audio quality this would be worth £200 more but it isnt so sadly it is what it is. Still has historical worth though.
The poster is showing signs of age and as you expect for something of its age delicate. It still looks beautiful when flat however be aware that there is some splits in it (worst is pictured).
