Original 1968 UK First Stereo Pressing – Fully Complete SetUp for sale is a fully complete, authentic 1968 UK First Stereo Pressing of The Beatles' legendary self-titled double LP.
This copy features all the correct early manufacturing indicators that collectors look for, making it a fantastic addition to any vinyl collection.KEY FIRST PRESSING DETAILS:Matrix Numbers:Side 1: YEX 709 - 1Side 2: YEX 710 - 1Label Variation: True first press Apple Records labels featuring the legal "Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions..." text. This copy completely lacks the later "An E.M.I. Recording" text on the left side of the labels.
Cover Details: Original top-opening gatefold sleeve, uniquely numbered: № 0521142.
The rear sleeve features the correct, rare early small "Stereo" text printed in the upper right corner, proving a 100% factory-matched set.
CONDITION GRADING:Vinyl Discs: Visually Very Good (VG) Both discs retain a brilliant, deep original factory gloss. Under direct light, the vinyl surfaces show a consistent pattern of light superficial hairlines and paper scuffs from sleeve withdrawal over the last 50+ years. There are no deep feelable gouges or scratches. It is an ideal, complete play copy that will likely play with some expected vintage surface crackle in quiet passages, but without skipping. Gatefold Jacket: Very Good (VG)The original laminate top-loader cover shows expected vintage aging, light ring wear, and some yellowing/discoloration primarily along the right and lower edges. Spine and seams are intact.
Inserts: Complete Set Included Includes the original large fold-out lyric poster (shows standard folding lines).Includes all 4 original individual color glossy portraits of John, Paul, George, and Ringo.
