Description
Bought as a new release in 1968 - played seldom during the years - stored in a vinyl box for probably the last 40 years - kept in a dry environment - A played but very well looked after album
VINYL - both records show very little wear - a few hairlines most probably due to being kept in the original black paper sleeves One visible hairline that cannot be felt on track B2 that does not affect the overall performance - Both records play through with no issues ( played on Technica with Stanton ) there maybe some very feint static noise between tracks but nothing that wouldn't be acceptable with a brand new copy ! Full gloss
LABELS - Labels are clean with very minimal handling wear - no writing / sticker residue or other marks - Spindle wear is minimal
Outer Jacket - In great condition for it's age - some light age related / storage mark and some discolouring ( fading ? ) on the rear of the sleeve Spine Intact but does show a little age related wear Front cover has ' The Beatles ' embossed and the serial number bottom right shows as No. 0399049 Reverse of jacket shows the words ' Stereo ' top right Top loader / Gatefold jacket No rips or tears just a little storage related wear to the corners
INNER SLEEVES - Black original paper sleeves that do show wear and marks - splits on part edges but acceptable not to cause damage - signs of creasing
SPACING SHEETS - Intact but show some creasing and age related marks ( see photos )
POSTER - One small split on the folding edge ( see photo ) but I have resisted the need to sellotape - all in all apart from some age related wear in decent condition
POSTCARDS - Unfortunately these are missing ( last seen on my sisters bedroom wall circa 1970 !! )
In general this is a great original album and well looked after considering it's 50 odd years ! A Very conservative VG+ plays as EX I have taken as many photos as I think you would need but please feel free to ask for more or any questions
