Description

In this auction:

  • THE BEATLES” LP by The Beatles

  • It is Apple Records SWBO 101.

  • This LP is a DOUBLE-VINYL APPLE STEREO REPRESSING.

  • This Apple Records repressing has “MFD. BY APPLE RECORDS INC.” printed at the bottom of all four labels.

  • All four labels also have the additional wording printed at the bottom of the labels:

ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. UNAUTHORIZED DUPLICATION IS A VIOLATION OF APPLICABLE LAWS

  • This Apple Records double-vinyl LP with the “All Rights Reserved…” printing was ONLY “ISSUED DURING THE LATER MONTHS OF 1975” per Cox/Daniels.

  • It was the FINAL PRESSING of this LP title on the original Apple Records label. After this, the LP was issued with Capitol Records label.

  • Due to the very short production period of this “All Rights Reserved…” pressing (4-6 months), it is definitely quite uncommon, and has become much tougher to find than, for example, the “Mfd. By Capitol” labels.

  • The GATE-FOLD COVER is in VG+ CONDITION with light overall wear including light aging/”foxing”. There is a very small scrape (probably made by a fingernail) on the front cover to the right of “The BEATLES”, a small “push” on the lower right corner and what seems to be 3 very small and very light stains on the bottom edge of the rear cover.

  • As you probably know, this ALL-WHITE COVER has always been very prone to show even the slightest bit of wear and soiling. It’s a cover that is quite hard to find completely clean and white.

  • Inside the gate-fold cover is the printing SWBO 101 and

    © Apple Records Inc.

  • The VINYL is in NEAR MINT (NM) to NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) CONDITION depending on the side with just several very light/slight surface hairlines/scuffs (None at all “feelable”).

  • The vinyl was pressed at Capitol’s Los Angeles pressing plant.

  • This Apple repressing includes the FOUR INDIVIDUAL PORTRAIT PHOTOS of the Beatles just as included in the previous pressings. The photos are on thin paper stock and have “PRINTED IN U.S.A.” in the margin at the lower left corner. These four PORTRAIT PHOTOS are in NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) CONDITION with just very light signs of handling.

  • Also included is the FOLDED POSTER OF COLOR PHOTOS WITH SONG LYRICS printed on the reverse side. “EMI Records Limited” is printed at the bottom of the song lyrics side of the poster which confirms that this is the correct poster for this pressing of the LP. The POSTER is in NEAR MINT (NM) to NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) CONDITION with just very light signs of handling. The poster has NO TEARS and NO AGING/”FOXING”.

  • THEREFORE, according to Cox/Edwards, this cover, these vinyl records, these four color portrait photos and this poster are all CORRECTLY MATCHED for this 1975 Apple “All Rights Reserved…” pressing.

  • NOTE: Some sellers may intentionally or accidentally switch vinyl, covers, and inserts in order to create an LP with a higher grade cover and vinyl, but NOT correctly matched to the same pressing. I don’t do that. This is the correct cover, correct vinyl, and correct inserts for this pressing/reissue.

It’s a VERY NICE COPY of this LANDMARK LP with the UNCOMMON “ALL RIGHTS RESERVED” LABELS to add to your Beatles vinyl collection!
