For sale is a beautiful 1982 Aussie re-issue of the immortal Beatles White Album. This is on the Black Parlophone label. More rare than the Apple issues, not sure. The sleeve is still nice and white, thankfully someone had the sense to put a protective plastic sleeve on this beauty. However, someone still put some dirty fingers marks on the inside of the gatefold. See the pics.
The vinyl, what can I say, they are both like new, maybe except for the centre of the labels, where there is some "crinkles" around the spindle holes.
I have played both records through, and they sound like new. Very clean sound, next to no crackle at all.
The 4 photos of the Beatles are also in there, in NM condition. There is no Poster / lyric sheet and I'm not entirely sure if the re-issue actually came with the poster / lyric sheet.
If you are looking for a copy of this album at a reasonable price, then this is the ideal album for you.
And of course, I will throw in a new good quality clear plastic sleeve protector to continue to keep the Album cover as white as its meant to be.
